There is a real smokiness and deep berry flavour with this wine. It is deep and very deep red in the glass. There is a slight acidness but very subtle with the aftertaste.

I had to double check with Donna that this wine was under $10. And oh my good this is the best wine. We have had for a considerable time. Don’t hesitate go and buy this one. It has lovely Cherry flavours, is smoother than alot of wines in the $20 range.

Chateau La Diffre Plan De Dieu 2016 Bottle Label Description
High in colour, dense and concentrated with a note of scrubland, herbs and a plump warm spiciness. The rich, ripe black and red cherry flavours are lavishly emblessished by juicy blackberries and red-berry fruits. The perfect wine to enjoy with roast beef or lamb.
