The Donna Review
The richness of the colour in the glass is so deep and thick looking. It’s good to be back on the reds after a stint with the whites/ This is a classic Shiraz with a slight pepperiness to it. It is rather drinkable and may need to buy more for Christmas entertaining.

Man with no Palate Review
This is a reasonably smooth wine with a slight peppery taste to it. It is quite drinkable as good as if not better than their normal Shiraz. And tempted to buy another 3-5 bottles just to see how this ages as this is a limited release. Very drinkable even now.

John Luke Shiraz 2017 Bottle Label Description
This limited release Shiraz is rich crimson red. Across the nose are aromas of dark berry fruit and spice. The rich mouthcoating palate reveals complex layers of rich blood plum and blackberry, with a cedary oak – derived spices. That meld with smooth tannins leading to a full and lasting finish. Grown in the ancient Cambrian soils along the Mount Camel Range makes for a quintessentially Heathcote Shiraz.
