The Donna Review

This has been laying down for a long time- maybe even 8 years. Purchased as a gift.

So on opening this a 2011 wine for 3 more sleeps to Christmas – so the celebrations have started.

It has a lovely bouquet and rich ruby thickness in the glass.

On taste well there is a slight acidness so maybe we have left this slightly too long. But apart from that, smooth as and a real punch of flavours, like a walk in the British countryside during Summer – even though this is an Australian wine.

Man with no palate Review

We drink not that much but we do drink quite a few wines during the year. We have been lucky to have a few that have been really good. Yet, I cannot remember a wine I have enjoyed as much as this. It is bizarre that we have been trying to clear out old wines and both have been a pleasant surprise.

This just tastes great, lovely & smooth, really flavorsome, very berry/currant flavour. Possibly one of the best wines we have had.
