The Donna Review
We had high hopes on this Shiraz as we had previously had an earlier vintage of this which was amazing.
I think we opened this too soon and should have cellared it for a few more years.
But it is a classic Shiraz if a little harsh like the Australian climate. The bouquet is okay – but nothing outstanding.
There is a real harshness to the palate but does have that peppery undertone of a classic Shiraz. But over powering acidness not as good as the 2017 vintage, but could potentially cellar well for future.

Man with no palate Review
This is a really tricky wine. We had a Heathcote Shiraz before but from Mclaren Vale and that was a 2017. This one is from Heathcote and is a 2020.
What I like about this wines is that it is light and I think we should have at least decanted this up to an hour before drinking it. Because the longer it remains in the glass the better it gets. If this had a couple of more years on it we would hope that the acidity would be far more depleted. Therefore I am going to give this one the benefit of doubt.
