The Donna Review
A real richness both in the blass and in the mouth. It isn’t overly smooth but yet does leave a silky feeling in the mouth. Slight acidness to it and also an earthy aftertaste.

Man with no Palate Review
This has a very earthy taste to it for a Tempranillo and also an earthy bouquet to it. It is not acidness but slightly does have a slight aftertaste to it. Initially really smooth, not bad for an Australian Tempranillo.

John Luke Heathcote Tempranillo 2017 Bottle Label Description
A cool season led to a late harvest. The larger ripening period allowed full expression of flavour, lifted raspberry and cherry aromas lead to a medium-bodied palate with ripe fruit flavours and firm tannins which persist to the end.
As is common with this style of wine, this Tempranillo has no new oak maturation, demonstrating the expressive flavour of the grapes.
