The Donna Review

This is a classic Shiraz, not full on colour and has that real sharpness to it. Having had the smooth and full of flavour wine yesterday, I think we were a bit spoilt. That said, this wine is full of flavour and if you like a classic Shiraz then this is for you.

Man with no Palate Review

It is really interesting when you have had an expensive wine from Europe and the next night you have a local Shiraz. This Shiraz is really tasty, full on flavour, but the really interesting thing is it lacks the delicacy and smoothness of the wine that we had yesterday. That said this is a really enjoyable wine and I am not exactly sure where to mark it.

Rouge Homme Coonawarra Shiraz 2017 Bottle Label Description

Since 1952, Rouge Homme has established a tradition of creating excellent quality wine. This Shiraz is made with fruits sourced from Coonawarra and the local rich red terra cotta soil. Slow ripening conditions allowed these grapes to develop intense varietal flavours. The wine wine displays aromas of raspberry, dark cherry and rhubarb combined with flora and spicy vanilla notes. The palate is medium bodied with red fruit flavours and supple chalky tannins all combines to a long lingering finish. Intense yet approachable this wine can be enjoyed now but will develop further complexity with short term cellaring.
