Reviews

The Donna Review

I’m not a great fan of the larger vineyards wines, but having said that, this is already a delicious wine especially for the price. There is deep berry flavours that comes through and I can’t pick up any acidicness – and as a bonus it really looks luscious and velvety in the glass.

Man with no Palate Review

Not usually a great fan of the big vineyards and in my opinion hasn’t really changed as a result of this wine. Yes it is reasonably tasty, not smooth, slightly acidic but is a safe wine if you need to take a wine to some friends.

Wynns Coonawarra Estate Shiraz 2017 Bottle Label Description

Wynns Coonawarra Estate was founded by pioneer John Riddoch who planted vineyards in 1891, recognising the potential of the rich, red Terra Rossa soil and the long ripening season of Coonawarra’s cool southerly climate. The estates famous triple gabled wines was completed in 1896 and purchased by the Wynn family in 1951.
Dark cherry and raspberry combine with floral and pepper aromas. The palate follows suit with appealing gentle tannins and soft acitity. Attractive dark fruits, complexity and length are hallmarks of this medium-bodied cool climate Shiraz.
