The Donna Review

I was excited to try Fat Bastard Pinot Noir as we loved the Malbec.

Also this is from one of my favourite regions in France.

On opening the bouquet was nice, so was hopeful. On pouring it is light in the glass like a classic Pinot Noir and on taste there is a slight spiciness but first is the berry’s which come through strongly.

Man with no Palate Review

I love how on the label it says from the Languedoc-Roussillon region of Southern France. Languedoc-Roussillon is one of my favourite regions of France where we have had lovely family holidays. And this wine conjures up memories of long warm summer evenings eating duck.

What I really like about this Pinot is the magical bouquet, for a Pinot – rich cherry flavours. Sadly there is a slightly early aftertaste followed by a slightly acidic taste.

Fat Bastard Pinot Noir 2019 Bottle Label Description

Fat Bastard Pinot Noir hails from the Languedoc-Roussillon region of southern France. High sunshine hours during the growing season enabled us to craft a wine with berry and spice aromas, intense dark cherry flavours and a long soft finish.
