I was looking forward to trying this as I really loved the Montepulciano. This does not disappoint and is a beautiful Merlot full of flavour and smoothness.
Definately, the best Merlot we have had for some time. It is more of a European Merlot in style than an Australian Merlot.

Man with no Palate Review
This Merlot has a lovely bouquet and is another cracking wine from Granite Rose Estate. Not as good as the Montepulciano but one of the best Merlot’s we have had in a while. I can understand why is an award winner. Is very flavorsome the only criticism if there is one it is slightly acidic.

Merlot was hand picked then fermented in half tonne bins with a gentle basket press. Matured in French oak for 12 months.
Merlot responds well to Port Phillip Bays cood salty air sea breeze with rich volume red soils. Producing elegant aromas and flavours of blackberries, black cherries and vanilla chocolate with a smooth finish.
Drink now or age.
Enjoy with charcoaled meats, game, spicy asian food, Italian seafood pasta, pizza and elegant cheese.
