The Donna Review

Wasn’t too sure about this as we were having a chicken and chorizo risotto. And thought this wine really wouldn’t go with it. And I was not wrong it didn’t go well with the Risotto. But taking that out of the equation, this wine is extremely earthy and doesn’t hold its flavour too well. We did decant this for around an hour which is meant to help – lets the wine breath.

Overall this is a pleasant wine and at the price not sure. I do think you can get cheaper wines with the same complexity and taste.

Man with no palate Review

Really interesting this wine is almost identical in price to the April one. The Herederos Del Marques De Riscal Rioja was to me leading about this.

But don’t get me wrong this is still a nice wine, very Italian, you can imagine it being barreled in the cellar. Slightly earthy which isn’t an issue, it doesn’t quite hold the flavour all the way through. I would not be disappointed if someone gave this to me but it’s not the best in the price range that we have tested so far.

This really needs to be drunk with rich food.
