A really deep luscious colour in the glass. On first taste, this is as full of flavour as the deepness in the glass. There is a spicy yet smoothness to this. A luscious wine – but best drunk with food, especially red meat dishes.

Man with no Palate Review
This is a reasonably smooth wine with an earthy grainy kinda taste. Rich as in a rich chocolate cake so requires a pretty meaty dish to complement it. Can’t imagine having this with a chicken dish!

Hidden Ridge Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 Bottle Label Description
Deep red with dark blue/black hues. Big Cabernet aromas of black currants, violets, smoke and lovely tarry notes.
Rich mouth filling berry fruits with plenty of fine grained, very classy French oak support.
Big and round, ‘meal in a glass’ comes to mind but still the wine has lively acid and a vibrant tannin backbone which supports the palate through to the finish. A long, silky palate that delights the senses, screams out for food and sets the tone for the evening to come. Enjoy
