Pinot Gris used to be one of my favourites (see previous blogs). So it was interesting to try this Pinot Gris version as we had already had the red from this same vineyard.
Well as a truly classic Pinot Gris, this is so creamy and so very light in the glass. The bouquet is unmistaken that of a Pinot Gris.
Serve well chilled, it does loose it a little when the chill leaves it. Keep the bottle in an ice bucket.

Man with no palate Review
It is interesting that this vineyard is very consistent with both its red and white varieties. I quite enjoyed the red for the price and this Pinot Gris does not disappoint either. I would definitely chill it as low as you can take it 10oC as the bottle label suggest is way too high.
I’m pleasantly surprised at the lack of acidness for a wine at this price. It has a pleasant creaminess and would make a great Summer BBQ wine.
