The Donna Review

Exciting to find this 2014 vintage – hidden at the back of the shelf.
Even more exiciting when you have already enjoyed the 2015 vintage.
This is really smooth and full of flavour – a real richness and velvety smooth.
I would say it is more of a winter wine as there is a real warmth when it hits your stomach.
This is a classic French red wine.

Man with no Palate Review

Bizarley we have already reviewed this wine but the 2015 vintage which we really enjoyed (see review here).
So when we stumbled across the 2014 vintage we grabbed it. If you can still find a 2014 vintage you too should grab this wine. This is a exceptional wine for under $10. It is smooth with fantastic flavour.

Moulin de Gassac Guilhem Bottle Label Description

The Guilhem expresses the Guilbert family ‘vigneron’ of the Daumas Gassac Grand cru wines – philosophy of farming small hillside vineyard sites harmoniously with nature. Made from 25 – 50 year old vines on the sunny and stormy slopes of the Languedoc, this wine captures the essence of Southern France.
