The Donna Review
This 3 grape wine is rather earthy to the taste and has the distinct small of a shiraz. The smoothness of a merlot, the sharpness of a shiraz and the full body of a Cabernet.
This grows on you as long as you don’t overthink the mix!

Man with no Palate Review
Now here is a question, if you have 3 different grapes in a bottle, do you get 3 times the flavour and why do winemakers add 3 grapes together. Sadly although this is a reasonbly tasty it is not 3 times the flavour and I have no idea why winemakers mix 3 grapes.
What lets this wine down isn’t its flavour but quite an acidic aftertaste that is almost unpatable.

Wynns Coonawarra Estate Cabernet Shiraz Merlot 2017 Bottle Label Description
Wynns Coonawarra Estate was founded by pioneer John Riddoch who planted vineyards in 1891, recognising the potential of the rich, red Terra Rossa soil and the long ripening season of Coonawarra’s cool southerly climate.
The Estate’s famous triple-gabled winery was completed in 1806 and purchased by the Wynn family in 1951.
An inviting nose of bright red berries and black olive combines with subtle earthy notes. Casis, plush dark fruit and gentle spice fill the palate and the fine grained Coonawarra tannins supply seamless length to this classic Wynn blend.
